Beyond the DIY Struggle: Why Hiring a Marketing Guide Can Save You Time and Money

I was (still am) a big fan of Quantum Leap - let me catch you up if you’ve never heard of it. It’s a TV show from the late 80s/early 90s about a quantum physicist (Dr. Sam Beckett) who theorized that time-travel within one's own lifetime is possible and he obtains government support to build his project "Quantum Leap."

Some years later, Sam decides to test the time travel accelerator by himself to save the project from being cancelled. He is thrown back in time, and discovers that while he exists in the past, Sam appears to everyone else as a person into whom he had "leapt.”

Al, (no one else can see Al except Sam) is a hologram and guides Sam on how to help the person’s life he’s “leapt” into. Together Sam and Al leapt randomly to different times in the second half of the 20th century, helping course correct someone’s life. At the end of the episode, Sam would “leap” once he created the needed change for that person’s life. The whole process would begin again in the next episode as Sam continued to solve the problems in another person’s life.

I don’t know about you, but I loved the idea of improving someone’s life or outcome and having them get that second chance to do it right. How many of us would love to change something in our lives?

Well, I see this happen with so many service-based businesses like you:

●     You want to course-correct your marketing and change the direction it’s going

●     You want to stop doing the mindless social media that’s not getting you leads or clients

●     You want to understand how to effectively send out an email newsletter without losing your mind

●     You want to tap into the existing network and connect with referral partners

Wouldn’t it be helpful to imagine a world like that and have a guide (Like Al is to Sam) to lead you and show you the way.

I can be your Al! (Ok, sounds like the Paul Simon song!) But seriously,  I can help you correct your course so your 2022 isn’t a repeat of 2021 or perhaps the last couple of years where you’ve had little growth.
