CHALLENGES
Dave Underhill is a consultant who helps leaders and experts communicate and become confident presenters. Dave had relied on in-person networking for many years and once the pandemic hit, he wasn’t using digital marketing to balance it out his marketing.
Dave wanted to know how to post on LinkedIn and reuse content. He has a podcast that he wasn’t promoting and also has a dormant newsletter he wanted to relaunch.
SOLUTIONS
After working with Dave I developed a custom marketing roadmap that included recommendations such as building out a CRM of his colleagues and past clients, adding case studies to his website and marketing, creating content themes for his newsletters and social media, and start sending his newsletter on a regular basis.
RESULTS
Dave has experimented with some of the suggestions from the marketing roadmap such as adding a clearer call-to-action on his social media and email newsletters. With this action, Dave found that there was more reader engagement and people reaching to speak to him. Dave has also found success promoting items such as a big business anniversary and his podcast episodes.
