You're Not Alone: Conquering Marketing Overload and Building a Winning Strategy

Ok, let’s get real and talk about the elephant in the room. I bet many of you are working WAY too hard. You are trying to do all of the things and are exhausted. You are seeing posts about 2022 and it actually makes you exhausted thinking about next year. You are still trying to figure out 2021, how the pandemic has affected your business and how you can market in this “new” world…..

Read through the seven items below and make a note if you identify with one or more of them.

  1. You feel overwhelmed - when it comes to marketing, you don’t know where to begin. It feels so over your head. Should you be on social media? Oh, that feels like a lot of work! Will you find your clients there? Half the time you are spinning your wheels making one little decision or post.

  2. Burned out on Social Media - feeling tired and stressed out being on social media? You are doom scrolling and it’s making you feel depressed. Are you are feeling low because you are comparing yourself to other colleagues and competitors on Instagram?

  3. Too many marketing programs - have you bought some cookie-cutter marketing programs where a business coach tells you - this is the way to success, but their methods don’t match your business at all. You have no time to read and watch all of the videos and they sit, unwatched, making you feel guilty?

  4. Why is marketing so hard? - This is a common mantra in your mind! You see your peers having success getting more clients but not sure why it’s not happening for you. You are doing marketing activities, but they aren’t consistent.

  5. Want more time, more clients! Marketing takes up way too much time and dominates in your business. You feel it sucking away your soul and have some resentment towards marketing activities. You are burned out on networking events and the time it takes to create content - there’s gotta be a solution!

  6. Had a bad experience with another marketing agency/person. Someone either ghosted you, overcharged you, didn’t deliver what they promised, or something similar along those lines.

  7. You are doing ALL of the marketing and it’s killing you. You are introverted and the thought of filming yourself and putting yourself out there is exhausting!

Did you identify with any of these? In my experience, if you relate with at least 2 or more, you can benefit from some outside perspective around marketing your business. Someone who can be a guide.

Let me know how you scored and what came up for you when you did this assessment! I would love to hear from you. Was there something on this list that I missed that should be on there? Shoot me an email. I want to know!
