Marketing Made Easy: How I Helped Two Businesses Achieve Amazing Results

I love helping my clients play to their strengths (the theme of this month). Many times when you discover how to highlight your strengths, it can help with your marketing.

Here’s a few examples of some clients I’ve helped and what impact that has created. Frankly, I believe the pandemic played a role in helping these women realize their potential and what was possible and give them the freedom to take charge and move forward.

When I first met Julia, she described herself as a professional organizer but after getting to know her, I knew she was so much more. During the pandemic, Julia saw the potential through her own client work that she can also help clients with their emotional and intangible objects such as boundary setting and more. I recently worked with Julia to help her align her marketing to highlight her work with emotions and organizing and see it as an asset. This little nugget gives Julia a leveraging tool to help her stand out and attract more of the clients she wants

My interior design client, Betsy, had been wanting to move more into the space of teaching and coaching other interior designers and make their paths easier through her wealth of knowledge. Betsy developed an amazing project management tool that she really started applying to her own business during the pandemic. Once she saw the potential, she was on fire and started a beta group to test out teaching her program. I’m excited that she is now in the process of launching DesignerSanity, having launched a website and a course for early 2022.  Playing to Betsy’s strengths and knowledge is paying off for her!

Alise is an amazing stylist who was struggling to promote herself on Instagram. Alise is an outgoing personality and one of her strengths is connecting with people in person and making them feel very welcome. After working with Alise, we realized that having her attend some women networking groups would be a great way for her to find potential clients. And sure enough, once Alise was safely able to attend luncheons and events, she really hit it off with some great people who became clients. Alise is on Instagram but she doesn’t spend as much energy and time on it, having it be one part of her marketing instead of the main part.
